Resources Analyst

Andy is a graduate of Adelaide University and has had over 14 years experience as a geologist in various mine, exploration, and project management positions. He started his career in mining at Mt Isa Mines before moving onto the Tennant Creek goldfields where he was instrumental in the discovery and mining of a number of gold mines, including roles as Mine Manager.

He also conducted gold exploration in the  Alrtunga goldfields, before moving onto epithermal gold and copper exploration in Japan with The Metal Mining Agency of Japan (now JOGMEC). He also did a stint in Indonesia exploring for epithermal gold. From 1997, Andy has been an investment adviser encompassing stockbroking and analysis of the resources sector.

He has a deep knowledge of the Australian resources sector and an excellent network of industry contacts. He joined RM Capital in 2011 as an investment adviser and analyst. Andy is also a director of Ausrox Gold, a gold nugget broking business that brokered the Ausrox Nugget, Australia’s third largest gold nugget in known existence.
